Full Itinerary
DAY 1: authentic, historic, and multicultural Santiago by bike

9:30am: Meet your guide in LORETO 6, our bike base to begin your adventure. This tour is all about exploring the less touristy areas such as the bohemian streets of Bellavista, followed by a full-on sensory experience of flavours, textures and colours in Santiago’s renowned food markets.


12:30pm: Lunch break. Be sure to ask our guides for some awesome recommendations around the city based on your taste!


2:30pm: Once your food is fully digested you will discover the wonders of Santiago that have shaped Chilean society. We’ll discuss important recent history about the Pinochet regime outside La Moneda. All this and still allowing time to see the main sites downtown and enjoying the parklife while learning a bunch of fun facts!

DAY 2: Santiago - Temuco - Malalcahuello

Welcome to the Lake district of Chile! After your arrival in Temuco airport, meet with our local team, they are the expert on site! We will transfer you to your hotel in a picturesque mountain town called Malalcahuello. There you’ll enjoy the hotel’s thermal baths. You will then go for a warm-up ride with our guide before sharing a Welcome dinner.

DAY 3: Kutralkura Geopark - The Andes

After breakfast, a van will take us to the Sierra Nevada Range passing through Las Raíces, the longest tunnel in Chile. Here we’ll hop on our bikes for a smooth ride along the Lonquimay River and through Kutralkura Geopark.

We’ll bike through the lands of different Pewenches communities, pass the customs and immigration services and reach the Pino Hachado pass. Finally we’ll get back to the van and drive to the hotel for a nice dinner.

DAY 4: Malalcahuello - Pucón

After breakfast, we’ll leave Malalcahuello and ride alongside the Cautín River. We’ll be able to contemplate a beautiful view of the Llaima, Lonquimay and Tolhuaca volcanoes before biking in an extensive green valley. We’ll finish the tour with a 2-hour drive to Pucón, known for its many outdoors and adventure activities.

DAY 5: Pucón hot springs - Villarrica volcanoes

After breakfast, we’ll cycle to Lake Caburgua before heading to Pucon’s famous Hot Springs. The ride today is a combination of rolling hills and short climbs. Our guide will help us identify the region’s many bird and tree species while riding alongside beautiful farms and enjoying the views of the Villarrica volcano. We will then enjoy a local lunch and a well-deserved relaxing time in hot mineral baths. Finally choose to go back to the hotel either by car or by bike!

Bike distance: approx. 32 miles/50 km – 3 hours (+ optional 22 miles/35 km)

DAY 6: Route Of The 7 Lakes - Huilo Huilo

After breakfast, we will ride one of Chile’s most scenic roads, the 7-Lake Route. We’ll pedal alongside the shores of two beautiful lakes, Calafquén and Panguipulli, and ride around Villarrica, the majestic snow-capped active volcano. We’ll have a picnic lunch on the beach of Lake Panguipulli while enjoying the views of Chile’s Southern volcanoes. We’ll finish our bike tour in a small village called Choshuenco, from where we’ll drive to the Natural Reserve Huilo Huilo. There we’ll have a nice dinner together.

Bike distance: approx. 59 miles/95 km – 6 hours

DAY 7: Osorno - Puerto Varas

After breakfast, we’ll head out for a 3-hour drive with the van to Osorno, where we will begin cycling. The route features rolling hills and flat stretches through quaint little villages with a strong German heritage. We’ll end the ride by the beach of Lake Llanquihue, where we’ll have a unique view of the Osorno Volcano and its great volcanic cones.

We’ll enjoy an incredible buffet lunch in a German family-owned restaurant and then drive up to Puerto Varas for a free evening. Ask our guides for great restaurant and activities recommendations!

Bike distance: approx. 56 miles/90 km – 5 hours

DAY 8: Vicente Perez Rosales National Park

After breakfast, we’ll ride alongside Lake Llanquihue, where a unique landscape is waiting for us with views on the Osorno Volcano, and reach the village of Ensenada. We will continue pedaling until Petrohue, on one of the most beautiful routes of the tour and passing through Vicente Perez Rosales National Park. Then we’ll get back to Puerto Varas with the van for our farewell dinner in a seafood restaurant.

DAY 9: Puerto Varas - Puerto Montt

Sadly, this is the last day in the beautiful Lake District of Chile. After breakfast, we’ll visit Puerto Varas downtown to buy some souvenirs or simply enjoy one last time the germanic architecture of the city. Ask our guides for great recommendations about local and handcraft Markets!

We will then make sure you arrive at the Puerto Montt airport with plenty of time to board your flight to your onward destination.
