Travel exhaustion got you down? Lost in a foreign country, missing home, and just dying for a juicy burger, a cold brew, and a good-old sports game? California Cantina is the gem you’ve been looking for. Located near the Pedro de Valdivia metro stop in the swanky, commercial district of Providencia, this restaurant and sports bar serves fantastic food and creative drinks to Chileans in search of foreign flavors and gringos dying for the delicious taste of home.
“California Cantina is the perfect spot for great food, customer service, and music”
On the menu, California Cantina is serving up some of the most finger-licking wings and the cheesiest, juciest nachos, tacos, and quesadillas this side of the border. And the “Cachai Po Weon” pizza, lathered with red sauce, and mozzarella, and coated with pepperoni, chorizo sausage, red onions, green spicy sauce, and cilantro is just one of the many culinary concoctions ready to be savored. All this alongside some of the tastiest vegan and vegetarian dishes in the city. The menu is so endless that just one visit is not nearly enough to explore this factory of flavors.
With a varied and thirst-quenching beer selection and a drink list that combines the exotic flavors of the southern hemisphere with the classics of the north, this bar is sure to make the evening of any nice date or fun group night out. Make sure to check out their event listings, and you might even be able to catch a performance by a world-class jazz musician, themed parties in the bar, or the best damned Superbowl fiesta in all of Chile. For some great food, great drinks, and great times, head down to Las Urbinas 44-56.
