14 Years Looking at Light

Is what you see when you close your eyes real or surreal? What happens to your senses when you are stimulated by rays of light or when you enter a room flooded with colorful lights? This is what artist Ignacio Saavedra and Optiko have researched for 14 years and they are here to share it with you in an amazing exhibition, where you will be the star!

Fashion Fleas are after You

Make your way to the fair Pulgas en la Moda (Fleas on Fashion), two days dedicated to learning what is being produced by the independent designers of Valpo. There will be stands with clothing and accessories for men and women, homemade treats to eat and an entertaining show by Circo Cabaret.

Full Moon: Night Time Sales and Party

This Saturday the 12th Loba Tienda/Galería (Ferrari 113), specialized Chilean comics and illustrations, will have a night sale of art, books and comics, do not miss it! The night stays alive with the group Guachupé who will be giving the initial kickoff to their celebration of 15 years together in Ele Bar (11PM. $3.000. General Cruz 335). They promise mambo until dawn!

Wednesday the 16th is a holiday so come on out on Tuesday the 15th for this party that promises to be endless with live cumbias of Poder Guadaña and the interstellar sounds of Mano Inquieta.

An Englishman in the Port

A selection of Belgian, Czech, and Dutch beer, along with a Chilean gem made in Olmué, is just some of what is offered at a new restaurant in Cerro Alegre. They have a lunch menu of homemade dishes ($4.000) and delicacies to share with friends such as the chorizo with Carmenere sauce. Guillermo, the owner and the man behind the bar, speaks English and German and will always helpful to answer any questions or tell his life story.
